L. B. Mek

of Malachite awareness

colours trend like everything else

fashion struts its podium assertions

and those exploited stitching fingers

bleed, to dye garments crimson

our newly minted ‘catwalk favourite’

perpetuated by en vogue magazine’s

wilful incredulity of criminal ignorance

if ever there was a reason to write a dedication, you just hit upon that reason .. it is almost impossible to comprehend how in the 21st century so many individuals lost their lives & as many again were injured through no fault of their own but through the greed of others maybe and the age old habit of cutting corners to make a few cents more ...................... incomprehensible!
what we perpetuate, in the name of greed
      generation after wasted, generation...
Thank you for giving voice to the disdain
I failed to capture in my scribbled effort
in your impassioned comment, dear Poet

It’s not only ‘an eye for an eye’ that makes the whole world blind, it’s also greed that makes us oblivious and blinds us to reality. A superb post indeed.

        ah my kind hearted friend
        once more you've graced me
        with your generous support
        humbly, I thank you!

        Well done, L.B.
We are loaded with "criminal ignorance" here.

          thank you Jerry
yes, if the universe had a court
many would have to face that charge,
          when we can google search
our path in life, there's little defence
for the indifference, so many of us
cocoon our existence within, ever day...

Yes so much greed and injustice abound. Thank you for sharing.

With a mind like yours how could I not, plus deep inside I want society to jump overboard!
