Nightmare Induced Dreams

Anna Colette

Sweat drips from every inch of my body

The blankets are tangled around me

Indents have formed from them

Soon,

A gut feeling emerges

It runs deep and cuts cold like a frozen night

I did not sleep peacefully last night

Demons invaded

And now,

They screech to come back.
