AnAlpaca

1.
Empty screen I see,
Won't you write to me?
A reply would help so,
Leave me aglow.
What I write,
Hope takes flight.
2.
Every note for naught,
A reply sought.
None given,
Still driven,
Want to try,
Hopes liquify.
3.
Alone; no reply,
Inside, I die.
Wanted to show,
Written cargo.
Sank in the sea,
That is reality.
4.
Emptiness reigns,
Daily pains,
Echo in my head,
Wishing I was dead.
Empty mind,
Life unkind.
Into the abyss I go,
Living death, slow.

  • Comment from author about the poem: Tried to contact my muse. Tell her how she's influenced my life. No reply. No response. It's killing me, literally. Can't go on w/o hearing back from her. So tired of this pain.

Sometimes you just have to empty your mind, and before you know it, you're back.

Very relatable. Describes such a situation very well...like a constant sting that only gets worse. You have excellent word choice.
