Self Love

Ameljor

Sadness crowds your eyes

And flinch when I pass by

Why has life tormented you?

Where loving is shoved aside

Anger and frustration abide.

Wipe it from your mind

Nothing will bring kindness

As long as you reside

in the affliction of shame.

Let it go, all the pain

Let it go, all the stains

Let it be

Come with me

I shall set you free.

Help forgive and love yourself

Start with self

It’s up to you

No more pretending it’s alright

You will find peace in the light.

One must always love ones self for the only person one must please is ones self others opinion don't matter if we love and respect our own person. Powerful penning .

      love the humanity you depict
      if only we all had
      such seemingly selfless motivations
      for our actions,
      thanks for sharing
