It's a weird time

I'm so used to writing about heartbreak

And missed opportunity with crushes

Putting my feelings down on paper

To avoid covering my pillows with tears 

I haven't written in a while though

Most probably didn't even realize

No sent poems, no posts

I dropped off for a bit 

Because I'm happy once again

When I was at a scary moment

In my life wondering if love was real

But then she appeared in my life 

A smart, gorgeous and thoughtful women

A person who took my scars 

On this fragile heart and told me

I'll be safe with her 

A women who i poured my identity to

And she told me to be me no matter what 

A person who reminded me that love 

Could actually be real
