Can a lesbian speak?

Dr.Suryaraju Mattimalla

"Can a lesbian speak?

Africa is where I was born.

Africa branded me as "abnormal," "unnatural."

My family sent a man against my wish.

He raped me and rapes me still.

I am pregnant with him.

I had a child.

My family is happy.

Society is happy.

Religion is happy.

The preacher is overjoyed.

The schoolteacher is overjoyed.

Medical professionals are happy

The judiciary is overjoyed.

The cops are overjoyed.

The government is overjoyed.

I am a corrective rape victim.

I am a lesbian.

I am a lesbian from the Islamic States.

Rape is not new to me in my family.

I am raped by my father.

I was raped by my brothers.

"Mullah raped me."

My neighbor raped me.

My teacher raped me.

I am voiceless.

I am speechless.

I became pregnant.

I approached the cops.

"I approached Mullah.

He raped me.

I went up to the elderly.

They raped me.

The same question pops up everywhere.

Why are you sleeping with your father or brothers?

Who will sleep with their biological fathers and brothers?

I was raped by them repeatedly right from my childhood days.

My cement walls are witnesses.

But in an Islamic society,

How will I get justice from Mullas, the courts, or human rights bodies?

I was sold into the flesh market to an old-aged man.

He raped me till he died.

Finally,

According to Sharia, Islamic ideologies and the state have beheaded me.

The UNO is deafeningly silent on our persecution.

Silence is not an option"
