Bleak

Draven

Beginning to accept the unacceptable,
the fog around her grows weak.
Seeing her surroundings for what they truly are,
the road ahead doesn't seem so bleak.
Realising in her darkest moments
her grave wisdom starts to speak.

    Good write D.
My poem had a different outcome:
I went out into the fog
And fell down a hole. Doh! lol.

      pain addled mind's,
      make easy targets
      for our mirage thoughts..
still, if it will get us past
      life's bottlenecks, then its worked..
      (thanks for sharing, dear poet
      a genuinely thought provoking read)
