It was on sunday morning filled with the cool atmospheric dew, dropping on the fresh green flowers in the compound, guess what, it was my father's birthday. He never loved me from
the inception of my birth till now. The whole reason for the anger was simply because he needed a male child by all means, but having me as a female child added to his anguish.
then I thought of it that the best birthday gift I can ever give to him was to end my life,
with that, all his anger will everporates like a flood hit by the scorching sun.
So I gathered courage to write my dad a nice birthday wish before committing the suicide that changed the whole story. My dear loving dad, today's special day and I want you to feel
special and be the happiest dad. Everyday that passes by, you always say that happiness left your life the day my mum gave birth to me
you told me mum left because of me .
So today, I want to change the status quo. I want you to remove the sadness I brought because my birth stole your happiness you told me you'd never look at me with love,
however, you know I always loved you and admire you as the best dad on earth. But I hope one day you will realise I was never the cause of your sadness, I hope you realise God
gave me to you as a blessing to be cherished. I hope in heaven you will finally hold me and kiss me. The best gift I could give you today is leaving your life as you've always wanted. You
wished I was never born. Happy birthday Dad then I took the pistol in the cupboard, cock it
Put it to my brain, scream daddy am gone forever now, I guess you are the most
happiest dad now and pop it. The sky darkens, blood gush out and I felt a sharp stroke like a sword piercing my heart vehemently, my life flashes back, and I imagine the beautiful life
I was supposed to live if my dad had loved me, that was when I woke up, it was all a dream. Dad, brought a cake for celebration. Then I sang a melancholic birthday song.
