Agree To Disagree

We should be treated as all one; however, we have never been so isolated until recent times

I crave for a world full of love, peace where humanity form a gigantic nation

The political situation is fading away from being even a tiny ounce tolerable

 

With a whole load of things, we have come so far

Nothing is as far away from being on point

We have changed a lot of things for the better

I’d like you to answer this question

How distant are humans?

I ask myself why is there still evident inequality?

 

This country often calls itself a favourable and well run democracy

Contradicting that, The democracy is too dysfunctional to be well ran and full of praise

 

People keep talking

Some have a high knowledge on the subject

Some of the people chatting have an entire misinterpretation of what they see on the news

 

Do you remember the way in which the media works?

You see they portray underprivileged people who are living in impoverished conditions to be scroungers, beggars or even worthless?

 

Have you ever seen the Hindu caste system?

The least advantaged of people are so low down in the poverty triangle

People are labelled under certain names due to their social class and when the label has been given, it becomes extremely tough to not live up to it

That’s what the poverty cycle does to the disadvantaged

 

These people are being failed from childhood

There are extreme cases of “the underclass”

Even the working class is a trap

 

 

The Marxist theory believes in an endless sequence caused by the capitalist elite;

The proletariat are so far detached from the bourgeoisie in this capitalist society

 

People just listen to others & believe they aren’t good enough and they’ll never make it as a result of a depleted background

 

However, each person can make it in life if they forget the stereotypes and release the power within

Don’t believe you have no chance of making it for there is a fortune of gold at the end of an illuminated rainbow

Remember not to forget your personal roots however far the road of life may take you

 

In this poem, I may have spoken about what seems unrelated topics

All of these words are interlinked

This is a controversial topic but it’s a matter of opinion

You can counter my thoughts because at the end of the day if we have different opinions then we should always agree to disagree
