Meet me over grapes in a glass
At a bistro set in a periwinkle sidewalk
Under a lavender twilight
Where heliotropes scent the air
We'll watch people pass
Put violets in our hair
Hold hands across the table
And hum Deep Purple in our hearts

A beautiful colour and a beautiful poem.
Here's to purple in your heart Rozina.....
My Dear Lorna,
“Purple”…
This is a color that brings back two great memories for me…one of my great grandfather and the other of Lucille Ball stomping those 🍇…such great memories…
Thank you for sharing your wonderful poem. 🍷🍷
Laura🌻
P.S.-I posted Lucy’s pic in my gallery if you want to take a peek.
I'll go look! Was great grandfather stomping grapes too?
Yes, he did! Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of him stomping grapes. Farmers hired him to do that. Allegedly, he was an expert doing that. 😃
What a great story Laura....
