When you are born
No one mourns
When you die
Everyone cries
You aren't missed until you're gone
then everyone notices what they did wrong
the people who aren't fond
run to make new bonds
The second you are born new
people try hard to form you
they'll try to turn you into a monster

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem symbolizes the birth and growing up of a child, and someone always trying to control them and make them something they are not. This poem means a lot to me, I myself feel that I am always being controlled. Someone is always leaving you behind for someone new and doesn't miss you until it's too late.
