Just In Love

JWKP98

Look over to the passenger seat, it’s the peace I see as you sleep

Eyes back on the road, but a moment later, it’s the feeling of your fingers as my hair you sweep

As the hours on the road pass by,

It’s our hands on each other’s thigh

With each and every moment through each and every new day, the small things I adore

That make me fall for you only more

Sit on the bed and lift a foot up so I can get your socks on

The childish amusement from your early morning yawn

The intense beauty of the curve of your smile

No greater or less than those of your body I run my hands and eyes over as we just lay here for awhile

It’s just a typical beginning and end to a typical day

Still, that it never ends, I have to pray

That little jump as you pull up your jeans

The edgy music you play I thought was only for teens

Randomly hooking your arm around mine as we walk out of the store

Even though I thought it was crazy at first, how you call the ground the floor

All I need to do to be certain of my love

Is watch you as we just live, from there flies the dove
