The Blue Planet

The Blue Planet

12/16/2021

From yonder, I glanced,

through her blue veil, that

subtle pulsation of the crust.

Most that feed off of her,

hardly realize, she’s alive.

Yet, I know she breathes

The waves heaving,

inhaling and exhaling.

Yes, her oceans too, breathe.

That, which seems immobile,

it too is wandering

at a glacial pace, yet, they too live.

Knowing, that we breathe in tandem with her,

why are we then deliberately,

slowly, choking her,

each day, poisoning her.

She is truly one of a kind,

most awesome in those autumn hues.

It’s time to live in harmony,

and let her live as well.

This reads like you were viewing from outer space..... oh you bad person...all that pollution you put into the atmosphere launching that massive rocket to get you there.... LOL... just kidding.

What are YOU doing to reduce your carbon footprint. I'm doin my bit, even bought a new car to reduce pollution.

I pray we don’t wander into outer space till we have learnt to stop destroying where we stand, otherwise we will carry the same destruction every where.
I drive a hybrid, maximize recycling and do my best to get others to follow, my fellow being.

    Very essential
It’s time we sincerely apologise and admit to our mistakes
    Maybe it’s not too late
Else one her fury ranges there won’t be time to say sorry again
So well you worded the concerns of Mother Nature embracing us
    Well crafted dear poet
