Lover

Malumbo

In front of us stood a hill, yet you remained still;

It delayed our walk, denied us our usual talk;

Three years past, we laugh about it for it's history;

It made us stronger, surmounting it yielded us the glory;

Funny moments marked the genesis of our love;

Moments spent with you and into my heart Eros an arrow drove;

Scribbling onto the pages of my notepad, a few verses for you I wrote;

Yet you were rude, you laughed at the cheesiness of my rhymes.
