Anchors Aweigh ~ alleluia

karvelD

At the draw of my last breath

these sails will set for death.

Life’s anchor will be raised,

setting one free to ship and surf;

to chase storms and adventure,

boundless among the stars.

Lifeless in the heavens.

At the pull of first breath

sails will be stowed for life.

An immortal anchor plunges,

mooring one to land, sea and sky;

to work the day and love others,

fastened to grow in this world.

Alive on earth.
