Envy

HangingbyaHalo

It is a wonder that envy does not kill,

Bitterness and jealousy become heavy like bricks.

Carrying you to the darkest parts in
the ocean of you,

Parts you have not explored,

Parts you tucked away that you pretend do not exist.

The wounds that you have yet to heal,

Blood still seeping out.

Only filling more space for you to drown in.

Be weary of the envious...

Grasping for anything and everything on the way down.

Failing to realize they are adding to the weight that aides in their journey to the bottom.

And Oh how heavy that must feel.

    Envy can destroy lives.
How many of our problems are born out of envy?
    Kindest Regards.
