Christmas cheer

ady123

oh switch the lights on please

Presents by the tree ,

Cards pushed through the letterbox

Mince pies, anyone ? Yes please!

Yorkshire’s on the rise, mmm where’s the beer, relatives arrive ,

Full of Christmas cheer

Tablet set , crackers out , turkey on the way

Glasses filled to the brim , a cheer ! , it’s Christmas Day

See those smiling faces , stomachs getting full ,

Wishbone at the ready , shut your eyes and pull

Children so excited , can we open them , they cry

Wrapping paper tossed away the gifts are all inside

Another  season come and gone , goodbye see you next year

Let’s hope it’s a good one , full of Christmas cheer !
