I EXIST INSIDE POETRY

sacredsage

I EXIST..

Everything I write is all my feelings,

What I went through in life,

My past doesn't define me,

My scars are my medals ,

Of completing all my tests in life,

Myself  I never existed in the eyes of everyone else,

   Some of my family members,

My friends or lovers,

But most importantly

  to my kids and grandkids,

I exist ,

They will remember me

Through words I teach them,

About the world we live in,

I exist you see

Through Poetic words ,

I'm known as Poetic Beauty,

  I Exist Poetically Speaking.

    a powerful statement of intent
to rid yourself of wasteful regret
and instead, find a way to enjoy
all the best of what life
    still has to offer you!
I laud your bravery, as much
    as I hurt
    for the pain you've endured,
to give you this strength and fortitude..
thank you! for choosing to share
    (a great message)

Scars are my medals... love that affirmation of your own character, we indeed live through our words and live on through our families memories of whom we were. Very nice piece☺
