CHRISTMAS POINSETTIA

shadow424

the past speaks

of salvation

within the fragrance

of evergreen

as ornaments

sparkle from

soft candlelight

and stockings

are warmed

with names

as stories of

friends and family

circle within

the shadows

of fond words

as we stand

under a bouquet

of mistletoe

    Good write S.

  • L. B. Mek

    wonderfully festive
I like your blend of melancholy and positivity
in this write, a true reflection
of how most of us are feeling this year
I truly believe, we owe it
to those, no longer by our side
    to make the best
    of experiences in life,
however fake or shallow that may seem
I think, if you asked those
who no longer, get a say or choice
    more than likely, most
    would agree...
    (thanks for sharing
    such a timely and festive write;
    Hope you have a wonderful
    festive season
and a peaceful New Year, dear poet)
