I cried to the Lord

I cried to the Lord to save me from despair,

I knew in an instant that He cared.

I cried to God to keep me from sin, He said “believe 

in Christ is where you begin”;

I cried to Jesus to give me peace, in a blink of an eye He

gave me everlasting life;

I cried  to the Lord and I will praise His name, because my life 

would be worthless without Jesus Christ.
