You were long gone before I lost you

anna_noday

You were long gone before I lost you –

Before you lost me too.

You looked out for me from a distance –

You took a last glance.

A string made me a better person –

I rot in my own prison.

Your messy room is empty upstairs –

You are somewhere else.

You let my hand fall beside my waist –

I loved you – what a waste.

I saw you, before my life has changes –

Before I turn the pages.
