My poems are precious,even if only to me
With much thanks I share them here,and all for free
They're my thoughts,my feelings,my pain
It brings comfort to know others too have felt hard cold rain
But I take no pleasure in others storms
I find enlightenment in all reforms
So with these words,I pay homage to all at MPS
The poets,the poetess's and the staff,they're my EPS(Emergency Poetry Sevices)
Yes MPS,it's my home away from home
Thanks once more,for I know I'm not all alone

Poetry is my passion,
A therapy of sorts.
I pour my feelings onto the page
And swirl them all around
I write about my happy thoughts
I write about my sad.
These poems keep me alive,
A way to channel my emotions
A way to give me peace of mind
A way to remind me
I'm not the only one feeling this way
And this keeps me breathing
For one or two more days

Imagine if all poetry was the same
all written in the same style,
same voice and structure
how sad would life be?
so I suppose what I’m saying
or at least trying, is
keep your own voice as you write
your written truth
don’t let anyone take your joy
be versatile, be you.

Be brave,be bold
Be bright as gold
Be strange,be quirky
Be dark and murky
Be fast,be slow
Get past,and go
Be loud,be heard
Be proud,be nerd
Be happy,be blue
Be free,be you

Love hard
Laugh loud
Think big
Stand out
Give selflessly
Whole hearfedly
Be you
Unapologetically

My gratitude goes beyond measure
for this little MPS treasure
where my heart feels light as a feather
as we chat and exchange together
Through this journey I will remember
