CHILD SLAVERY

Akanksha Pandey

I love to dream I love to  play

I love to be admired by all the way

I work for the crave which you all have

But you are the tycoons & I am vagrant

I wish to read I wish to write

I wish to be cherished by all the way

I work for my family which you all have

But you are an honour & I am disgrace

You are the hero of a grand palace

And I am a loser of a crowded slum

Replace my weapons

By your crowns

I could also gain

The same name and fame

The same name and fame

    A great concept
    And a jewelled poetry
    The dreams the innocent carries
All sadly burdened by enormous responsibilities
Those eyes that should shine with dreams
Are glued with dust and sweat
    Until they become teary
    Well crafted poetry
Throwing light on an important issue
