A Early Christmas Gift Perhaps? And Who to thank(A true story)

FallenAngel1๐Ÿ•Š

About 7 weeks ago my brother in-law, who's a big animal lover got a puppy for his birthday. About 3 or 4 days ago he took him out for his morning walk. Just as they got outside of our 4 story building,a fair size icycle broke loose from the roof and came crashing down to the ground landing only a few feet away scaring the crap out the poor thing, the dog,not my brother inlaw. He took off like a rabbit being chased by hunger. My brother in-law calls out his name at the top of his lungs,my sister who's in the apartment emediately hears. Before I know it,I'm being awakened by the sound of my moms voice calling out to me at the top of her lungs. Although I knew it was my sister calling my name,I swear to God it was my moms voice I heard.

(Is this as close as I'll ever get to that dream I've been wishing for? Wishing upon that dead star?)

  • Comment from author about the poem: The puppies name is Chester(short for Manchester,as in Manchester United. Its my brother in-laws favourite football team and has been for many years),and yes we did get him back safe and sound a short time after he ran off. P.S. This picture actually looks a lot like Chester, but Chester has floppier ears๐Ÿถ P.S. Re; my note in the brackettes, read my poem called Wishing Upon A Dead Star.
