THE TREE OF HOPE

                     THE TREE OF HOPE

Days are going without an aim

The journey has come to a stop

Dark clouds have surrounded me

Feet have bent before the thunder

But I hear a whisper in the air

Like a ray in a dense forest

Like rain in a desert

Like a breeze in the summer

I went to search its origin

In desert and forest

In mountains and valleys

In the Centre, I found a tree

Filled with light

With evergreen leaves

Like beauty in darkness

Like the colors after the rain

I wanted it to stay with me

Suddenly my dream broke

Surprisingly I woke up

And looked at the mirror

And what do I find?

The tree was within everyone

Whose breeze was the whisper

Giving hope of a new world

A hope for a better tomorrow

A promise to be happy again

Asking to make a way through the forest

Asking to hope for a flower in the desert

Asking to wait for the sun to rise

Asking to be happy to be counted

 Among the lives.
