New Depths

Fay Slimm.

New Depths.

Find the place where two seas meet,
stand on the edge of seen and unseen
and listen to Nature speaking.

Awe is too vast to describe in words,
peer into the intimate inner universe
and discover new depths of person.

Authentic soul-beauty empties Self
to display the experience of ecstasy.

Very beautiful self reflection poem my friend there us beauty to be found if only we are willing to truly see. ☺

    • Fay Slimm.

Yes dear poet-friend we must be willing for these wonders to be unfolded to us - really appreciate your read and comment on New Depths.

D'you know... I was just cutting my toenails this morning ready for new year when by happenchance i began to contemplate my navel (my slang for weighing up my life). However a bout of flatulence soon put an end to that and to clear the air I headed for the kitchen for to raise a cuppa.
Mid cuppa i was navel bound again having hovvered over your poem. Trying to discover why I am a positive thinker, why i feel fortunate, how difficult would it be to look at my existence in a more negative, unfortunate light. Strange thoughts.... something innate, which i can't change from within, powers the light which guides me. Maybe it's a light from my ever present guardian angel who reassures me of their company no matter what.... i know someone/something is giving me unconditional love..... even if it's just the all encompassing universe of which I am an integral part.

Where your poetry will take my poetic thoughts is priceless.

      • Fay Slimm.

You are on the same wave-length no doubt about it dear Dusk - being positive leads us to unconditional love and your comment outlines this so well. - Delighted that my few lines led your thoughts into such a grand avenue today.

Positively Bodhisattva, may this light shine forever

          • Fay Slimm.

Suresh after looking up the wonderful word Bodhisattva, - and finding it means "one whose goal is awakening" makes me thrilled that my few lines found the right path toward the light. Thanking you sincerely for your visit and read of New Depths.

                  love this image
                  and your words, enrich
                  its profound depths
                  so meaningfully:
                  'stand on the edge
of seen and unseen, and listen
                  to Nature speaking.
Awe is too vast to describe in words'
                  'Authentic soul-beauty
                  empties Self, to display
                  the experience of ecstasy.'
                  (a great write!)
