Calm is the current state -
of that, I am wary
For nothing in this world
could ever be
As beautiful as it is,
there is no life
Nothing breaks the smooth
surface skin
Expectancy is now born
in a state as this
Suspense on its edge,
anticipation
For time can never stay
the inevitable;
the sudden splash
at solitude's end

Classic to its engaging end is this well-crafted tribute to lessons we rarely find except near or on a beach. Have save this one Eugene and shall look forward to reading its predecessor
