Size Versus Time

Classicmister

If on awakening

The world about me

And all things in it

Had suddenly become a million times bigger

Than when I went to sleep

I would have no way of knowing

As all would stay in proportion

With no reference to previous scales

So too if I awoke

And all about me had become

A million times smaller

Than when I went to sleep

Again how would I know?

But if the pace of time

Increased or decreased

By a million fold

I would surely know
