A War Time Movie Poem

FallenAngel1🕊

Irene-"That song is a fado,it means fate"

Vincent-"I believe in fate"

Iren-"This song is about a love that could never be"

Vincent-"I'll tell you what this song is about,it's about a man and a woman who meet in a strange and wonderful way"

"Each were in danger, and each were on guard. And yet when they looked at each other,.."

Irene-"but those aren't the words,to me all these songs are sad. Like the first one I ever heard. The words still haunt me"

"For the love of you,I lost God

For the love of you ,I lost myself

Now I see myself alone,..

..without God ,..

..without love,..

..without,...

..you"

At the end of the movie as Vincent leaves Irene behind to go fight the Nazis,

(in narroration)

Vincent-

"In the love of you

I lost myself

and now I'm alone no more

but with God

With love

with you"

The Conspirators-1944,recited on the screen by Hedy Lamarr, aka Irene,

and Paul Henreid,aka Vincent.
