Blame God? Really?!

Saxon Crow

Why does God get blamed for all the troubles and woes
All the things that go wrong in this topsy turvey world?
Why does he always get such a bad deal?
Having to take the suffering of what people feel.
There's so much ignorance and blinkered thought
That if you were God you'd turn your back on us all
But he doesn't because he loves you endlessly and free
It's not his fault if your heart doesn't see
Because there is a truth in this world so full of lies
That lifes hardships are made by a nefarious guy
Now he is the one that needs to take the whole wrap
But somehow you forget that he dishes the crap
So God gets it all though it's not his rules or his game
And when things go south you always take his name in vain.
But if you knew your stuff
And had wisdom to spare
You'd realise who God is and that he does actually care
So before you all throw your blame up to him
Why not take time out and learn who he is?
Stop acting childish, use your heart not your head
Nature is nature and there is life and then death
Choices we make borne of the free will we have
Shape all our tomorrows, the good and the bad
So value every decision
Because the repercussions are huge
You're much more powerful
Than you actually know
And always remember that the devil is here
Running this world and stoking your fears.
Playing you all like a bow and a fiddle
Until what you think was your choice
Is his wrapped in a riddle
You see he never lies but is full of deceit
Confusing your morals with glamorous sin
Until your misguided conclusions
Tell you to hate the wrong guy
Make him the scapegoat
For your miserable lives
So why not for once just listen and pray
Then maybe poor God would no longer be blamed

It's true, SC. Though suffering is one of the blocks to believing. Various sufferings - disasters, illness, emotional, mental, etc.
Not that I always sail through sufferings fully trusting, but hopefully learn some thing(s) from them.

Taken from my own entry "Something I have to say" of August 14 of last year,
There are many things about this universe that most of us more than likely will never know how or why they are as they are. So where do we place the concept of God (who we know so little about) within a universe, we know so little about. How can we judge God because something tragic in the world has happened? How can we blame God because a family member has a terminal disease there is no cure for? Why is it always God that gets thrown under the bus for circumstances that are a society related issue? Because God let it happen? For what reason would any spiritual entity want to let harm come to any life form on this Earth? I believe in my heart that there is someone or something bigger than all of us, and that it loves and cares very deeply for us. If there is a God or spirit entity, whether in our image or not, I believe it is the essence of love. And it has instilled the qualities of love in every living thing on Earth. And when a species of life on this Earth comes to the end of its life no matter the cause or reason, that God or spirit is there to comfort and welcome the crossing over of that life to the afterlife.
    Great entry Sax. πŸ˜‰πŸ‘

Very well summed up dear poet
Those last lines were so true
It’s very true that we remember and blame him in pain
    But forget when we gain
    Well crafted dear poet
Thanks for such a beautiful write
