It's January 3rd here in Canada with the worst of Jack Frost still to come
I,..my soul longs for the warmth of our mighty sun
For nature walks in the woods
With soothing tranquility of babbling brooks
Well I guess I'll do these dishes. I wash a bowl. I fiddle with the tap. Too much pressure.
Just a little less. Just a smidge less. Yes,there, there. Right there. That's the spot.
I can hear it. The sound of my beautiful babbling brook
But I can't see it. Maybe if I close my eyes I'll get a better look
I can see the woods. It's beautiful lush green foliage
The trees are becoming more in focus
If I open them now it's a spoiled image
Its getting a little more loud
The sun is warm with not a cloud
And the forest is abundantly alive
I'm feeling a little more revived
Now a little louder
Sounds like its just up around the corner
Yes! There it is!! My beautiful babbling brook!!!
Hiding in a nook,...
...within the woods of my mind.

The inner romancing of a natural poet on display here. I empathise completely for what better way is there to remove the drugery from dishwashing etc than mind walking through the scented freshness of woodland or relaxing in the filtered sunlight beside a beautiful stream.
Fly high and wide whilst others only see what is in front of their eyes.
Very nice. Spontaneous. That's how it happens!
I can visualise the scene, the sounds. Even washing dishes can evoke beautiful daydreams.
Thanks Rozina,..life sure is funny sometimes lolπ
