keep dancing

blue sapphire

Can tomorrow be worse than today?

Is there a reason to live another day?

When you have fewer ups than downs

When you are in constant fear of breakdown

Where should you look for a reason

In order to avoid your last countdown?

Escapism is what I need

I am sure it’ll stop the bleed

Watch another movie

Listen to another song or read another book

You know there is no guidebook

So do what you have to do I guess

To keep alive the only body you possess

I am still young and dumb

Too early to fall and crumb

There is beauty in tragedy

and happiness is a lost family

But wait, let us give it another chance

too soon to stop this dance

    young, isn't necessarily dumb
    just like, end rhyme
    doesn't necessarily negate
    the fact that
    what you're writing, isn't a poem
    (lookup pop music 'lyrics'
    for reference) lol
let the rhymes find you, while you're
noting down a few sincere thought's
    let that, be your mapping
    to excavating that poetry
    from within...
thanks for sharing, a really interesting read
    and Happy New Year!
