Waiting For The Snow

Jerry Reynolds

Denied the suns warm glow

Behind an ashen collared sky

Waiting for the snow

Plow to pick-up work-men apply

Wide-eyed children watch by windows

With carrots and buttons standing by

Waiting for the snow

Ah yes - I remember it well and those snowmen eyes just had to be carrots - - a lovely anticipatory look at cold sky when overcast with flaky clouds - - thank you for sharing that waiting dear Jerry.........

What did the snowman say to the next snowman? "Can you smell carrots?"

Yep a serious load of snow will put the cat among the pigeons this year with all the transport shortages we already have together with covid absenteeism. More bare shelves and shortages of materials.

      Thanks, Dusk.
We are getting better with stock but the absenteeism is bad.
