THE FIGHT IN MY EYES

MCOSAAT

I had my

eyes wide open.

Yellow streaks,

Auburn waves of orange and red,

All wafting in,

I was content.

Until I wasn’t.

Whispers

Soft

Barely heard

Come to me,

It said…

And you’ll be shown

What you haven’t fought to see before

step

P A I N!

step

P A I N!

Why won’t it stop?

I want it

to stop!

I need something more

I need more

I need more

I need more!

Eyes closed,

Bleak

An endless void,

Darkness

To begin again.
