Happier Now

EKAnonymous

As the days get colder,
I just wish I could hold her,
Her smile is my cure,
But she’s happier now I’m sure,

Our memories forever in my mind,
I miss when our souls were intertwined,
When her eyes started into mine,
That is the only time I truly felt fine,

She’s still the only thing I think about,
Yet her mind is full of doubt,
All I want to say is ‘I love you’,
I yearn for the day she says it too
