Beloved Souvenir

EKAnonymous

Me and you forever that’s what you’d say,
But I didn’t know forever had an expiration day,
It’s good to see you’re happy now dear,
But is it selfish that I still want you here?

I keep holding on to false hope,
It’s the only way I manage to cope,
I’m struggling with this constant pain,
I just can’t seem to get you out of my brain

I could feel your love start to fade,
Won’t you look at the mess we’ve made,
You allowed others to interfere,
So now I say goodbye to you - my beloved souvenir
