Letter to Burn: Temptations

breenicolehere

Temptations, they're all around us, everyday. No matter what you do, they are still there.

What does matter is what you decide to do about it.

Do you just give in? Let it evolve you?

 Do you fight back,

harder than you've ever fought for something in your life?

Or do you destroy it... obliterate it so it was as if it never existed?

The thing is no matter which you choose to do, its really hard to stick with one decision.

Do you back out or do you keep going?

Do you half-ass it and play pretend?

Do you ignore it and keep moving?

When you give in, and trust me, you probably will eventually...

I hope it hurts you the way it hurt me.

I hope you finally feel the way I did, hurt, miserable, on the edge of the water, nearly destroyed... possibly permanently obliterated to nothing.

Feelings,

or maybe emotions, no longer worth it, no longer valid.

Hurt.

When I leave.

But it wouldn't be the same as if you left.

You wouldn't care to feel it.

Scream.

I did.

I continue to every time you fail to your temptations.

It drives me crazy.

I can't bear it,

Yet, I do because you mean more to me than life itself.

MyLoveLetter.

Take up the temptation once, you're bound to take up the temptation twice. As you say, it's the collateral damage you leave, and the hate pointed in your direction.
