Triggering poem be aware: Untitled poem

Theangelwithabrokenwing

- Sometimes I'm afraid to live for the pain is loud inside
- Freely I wish I could confess that I feel secure to hold on for my other option is suicide
- I don't want to be locked down in a place
- Where because of your internal scars you're made to feel like a disgrace
- All I can say is society is the reason why people like me arrived here
- A mind burnt out and torn apart and sometimes silently we shed tears
- I didn't choose to be this way
- A hard thing to do is to carry on through society and pretend like your insides aren't hurt and broken enough, it can also be so hard to imagine another day of silence in rivers of pain as you rest your head against the wet sides of your pillow case and lay.

Powerful poem. Thank you for the read.

  • L. B. Mek

    firstly, I laud the steps
    you tried to take
    to prevent your words
    causing hurt
    or unwanted, reactions
    to your readers;
I truly wish more of us
    can learn
    to take that extra second
    of consideration, for others
    while we're inking out
    our suffering, caused
    by other's: ill-consideration...
    (a raw, emotive write
    that reads, true and rather
'matter of fact', in its details
    and not, so poetically embellished
    it has lost
any of its original, grounded perspectives)
    thanks for sharing, dear poet
    please, try to remember
    its much better, for us
    'all and any of us!'
    to 'seek' help
    rather than, wait
    till we 'need' help
    in life..
    stay strong!
