The Sketch

PS

There it was shadowed by a distant light

Owning the space which seemed so right

Hidden by a veil from the significant lot

Evading the spotlight which many others sought

I stood there looking at the subtle sketch

No vibrant colours your eyes could fetch

But the myriad hues that adorned the rest

Did seem to pale before this pastel fest

Wondering what could describe this timeless piece

Which seemed to emanate a story of peace

Nothing could compare to its beauty with ease

It was nothing less than a masterpiece!
