Secret garden

isituorme

Looking through my window

Is what I need to do

I need to sort my garden out

It looks like me and you

The birds have flown they  won’t come

back

The plants  have bowed and died

The bushes are all over grown

Blocking out the sky

The lawn is brown it holds a frown

It’s etched across its face

It’s looking back on fonder times

That will not be replaced

The soil is cracked it’s life force gone

Potential all  bereft

The promises of future life it’s seems

Got up and left

We’re once was sun and so much fun

Is now just cold and damp

It reaches deep inside my soul

Causing my heart to cramp

I draw the curtains turn away

I’ll leave this for another day

I need to sort my garden out

It’s feeling just like me .
