Hilltribe

Hilltribe
Hilltribe|People
Tucked away|In remote villages
Disconnected and carefree,|Void of the hustle & bustle
Unlike millenials and Generation Zs|Of the city fraught with stress and pace
Reportedly thriving and chasing, but failing to see|The simple peace and quietness mother nature provides
Instead, they toil and work, grasping on to some fake reality|Which spurs them on day after day, providing for their family

may I ask why your font size is so small?
a visual addition, to your poetry's imagery, maybe?
but it des make it a little hard
for us to read you work, sadly..
    (thought provoking words
    how? do we quantify
    the regressive costs
    of modernity's supposed, progress?)
    thanks for sharing

Hey! Yeah I had to make the font size smaller to depict the 'hill' imagery I was trying to capture with this piece.

Twin cinema form I experimented with attempted to reflect the contrasting nature of the city and the hilltribes as well as the difference in attitudes. Thus the larger font would not be able to lend itself to that structure unfortunately :/

Interesting question - I guess we'll never be able to quantify it, effects of society's regression may ever really be mere observations and reflections.
