Wasted

Jamie Stewart

I lived happly after once
My childhood

Everything was so innocent
Living the life without meanings

After that

Time just passed

I learnt some new words
Greed, pride and more

Nothing stayed the same since then
Still tried to live in on my line

Altought the observation was afflicting
I had hope for better days

I gave promises to myself
Promises which could not intend

I tried to care
Tried to love

But how can you love the sky
When you don't have your eyes

I was blind
I wasn't able to see things

I tried more
But since that seeking

I have lost something very important
I broke one heart

With the burden trying to survive
It is to heavy now

I realise that
When you love someone more than yourself

The word called 'sacrifice'
Doesn't mean anything

I would give anything
To get what I deserve

Where is the light?
Where is the hope?

Abandoned long ago
Now all I can do is waiting

Waiting for that day
That I can survive

Survive all this madness

I wasted a dream and life.
