Salt Pearls

SriVi

The ocean was talking,

the waves rising,

Rolling to the shores &&

stinging the eyes !

They came in again

with the snap of an applause

Clanging the pebbles,

Jolting the shores &&

Stinging the eyes !

This time they came –

Thunderous and breaking,

Washing the sands,

The eyes stinging – leaving behind Salt Pearls……

Then they came,

Gently they sang,

But this time they whispered through the toes &&

Left me behind.

Me and My Salt Pearls !!
