To YOU
You have mistaken non humbleness for my desire to rise above my circumstances; to not be a victim of my circumstances and still live my life on my terms and not how YOU think someone in MY situation SHOULD be acting. Until you walk my Dark Mile please SHUT Up and recognize your negativity isn’t helping my situation.
What you see is my strength; my years of perseverance and my inability to be broken by my circumstances.

Ode to all my HATERS
You Mad? because what you see as stuck up is the strength/perseverance GOD has instilled in me?
You Mad? cause your ‘hatin’ perception of me can’t steal my joy?
You Mad? cause your chainz can’t hold me?
You Mad? cause despite my circumstances, I’m still standing?
You Mad? because my resume shows were GOD has bought me from to where my FAITH has led me to?
You Mad? because what you say about me doesn’t validate me?
You Mad? cause even when I’m feeling low, my head is still held high?
You Mad? cause the bruise on my ankle has the imprint of your head on it?
You Mad? cause even when I’ve lost, I’ve won?
