Afar

Draven

I sit alone with me and my thoughts

In the middle of the room

It doesn't matter what is going on

Because in this moment

I am here

Alone

I am everything

And nothing

I simply breathe

And notice

Without judgement

I view myself, my thoughts and everything in between from afar.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I have been doing daily yoga for just over a year now, and since a few weeks I have added daily meditation into this routine. It took me a while to get here, but I've accepted that this does wonders for me.

Nice writing . I used to do yoga more , not as much these days although I am on a yoga site so maybe should use it more . Meditating is something I think I should do a little more , I am going through spiritual awakening ,
