I sway to the beat of the jazz
Coming and going like a symphonic heartbeat.
Downbeats downplay like a river of gold
Which washes and breathes into life,
Transforming them into butterflies.
Into the sky I can see again.
Your entity overcomes my place of peace
And I become whole again.
Syncopating butterflies fly by
The night’s sunset skies.
