When you look into my eyes all I see is the goodness in your soul. It speaks to me as a parent to a disobedient child telling me “you're not good enough, you never do anything right.” it looks into the very fear i feel when i look at you; fear that i will turn into the very person i hate the most; fear that i cannot love you the way you are meant to be loved, that i cannot love you with the fire and intensity that you love me with. From the moment my eyes first met yours, I felt an overwhelming fear, fear that it will be you who finally pulls the metaphorical plug. I fear that I will never be able to love you the way that you love me because I am unworthy of such a kind soul, I am unworthy of the beautiful thing this world has given me. Your love is warm and beautiful and like a fire it entraps me in its beauty and no matter how hard I try I cannot escape and that is the beauty of it.
