the slave

queenjojo

As the days passes I stay your slave,

The slave that hears everything,

for decades this happens,

A life I can't live within these hours,

thinking how life would be if the world was ours,

the night passes now it's day,

A war breaks out and it's up to me to save the day.

I fight my way to middle,

being too scared I just stand still,

I picked up the bat and hit the car,

screaming stop it's gone to far,

everyone paused and stared at me,

I say this is not who were meant to be,

we and people were meant to be free,

we are meant to be a community,

together just you and me,

i forgive you for hurting me,

now forgive us and set us free.
