My name is Camila Daz Córdova...

Dr.Suryaraju Mattimalla

My name is Camila Daz Córdova.

I was 29 years old.

A Transgender woman from El Salvador

Do you know what happened to me in my country?

I escaped to the greater United Nations of America

From my country for life

I reached American detention center in 2017

I applied for my asylum

But in four months, the United States sent me back.

My countries three police officers killed me

They are my Salvadorian police officers, Jaime Geovany Mendoza Rivas, Luis Alfredo Avelar Sandoval, and Carlos Valentn Rosales Carpio.

They killed me on January 31, 2019.

Do you know how they killed me?

They forced me into the back of a pickup truck.

Beaten me severely

Hurled my body into the bushes

They threw my body out of a moving truck.

They tortured and killed me.

Like our religious fundamentalism torture pig before killing him

Have you seen someone torturing and killing a pig in Afghanistan or Pakistan?

Or

In Palestine, or by any Muslim family

When they are torturing pig in front of millions of

Psychologically ill people

He wants to die soon.

But they won’t kill you once.

They torture and torture you.

They tear your organs with life

They remove your body parts with life.

They would kill you by torture.

Pig wanted to die, but her torturers were cruel human beings.

They didn’t kill her.

Like a pig in their fanatics' hands

My El Salvador police tortured me before killing me.

That is the respect, honour, and dignity they give the LGBTQ community.

And I died after a few days.

Hundreds of thousands of my queer community

They are dying, not only in my El Salvador

But also in  Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico.

We are collectively known as the Northern Triangle.

Central America is our death places

Northern Triangle is our persecution places

Northern Triangle is our genocide places

Many of my community's people are fleeing to the United States

From Central America for asylum

But

The USA is sending us back to die

Advanced countries are accepting millions of asylum seekers and refugees with extremist ideologies with fear Or with the intention of oil.

However, we, the sexual minorities, are

Most powerless communities are so

Every advanced country is sending us back.

Sending us back is not a recent phenomenon.

But historical

We can’t bring oil.

Or we can’t fear them like millions of extremist ideologues

America has airlifted millions of extremist ideologues

But America is sending us back

Because we are peace loving community

I have a dream

I dream of saving my people not only from the Northern Triangle

But also from Africa and Islamic families

Where we are butchered

Asylum laws should not reject sexual minorities.

How to explain to you our pain and suffering?

How to explain to you our internal and external war on us?

How do I explain our society's death gallows to you?

Accept my sisters and brothers irrespective of their race

Your laws should protect weaker sections like mine.

You rejected me. They killed me.

You accepted tens of millions of extremists

They are harming your peace.

But we are with you in your peacebuilding.

We are a peace-loving community.

We are a joyful community.

We don’t have a dream of amassing wealth like they do.

We have no desire to give your tax dollars to extremists.

We are democrats

We are not religious extremists.

We don’t have six child wives and sixty children.

We are a joyful community.

We are not a harmful community.

We are productive

We are progressive.

We are humanitarians.

We are scientific

We are rational

Your lives are safe at our hands

You can sleep without fear of religious fundamentalism.

We never carried out your 9/11 attack.

We never kill thousands of people.

We never cause harm.

Ours is a loving community

Ours is not a hating community.

Your tolerant hating community

Refusing to accept loving community

If you accepted me in 2017

I would not be killed in 2019

Have a heart for my sexual minority community.

Please and thank you

This is my last wish

Could you please fulfill my dream?

  • Comment from author about the poem: Western asylum laws are visibly discriminating against sexual minorities who are fleeing from their home countries for life. Western asylum laws are protecting religiously extremist communities who are harming liberal principles of western countries, but unfortunately, the so-called western liberal system is benefiting migration from Islamic families who are religiously fundamental and have a long-term plan to establish the Islamic State in the west. This is the life goal of every Muslim, to establish an Islamic State in white western countries. Truth hurts.
