As soon as I walked through the door
I could feel the cold
And the dark
No sign of spring
No sign of anything
Just frozen air without light
And as my eyes dared to wonder
Around the room
I couldn’t help but think…
Will I ever find her?

Cooeeee! Did ya find me instead? Or as well as her?! lol.
Coooeeee dear Orchi, maybe I found you both lol π€£ π
Of course you will Teddy as the light of Spring will soon be with us.
Andy
Awe thank you dear Andy, today is a very gloomy dark rainy day. π
How's the Cabbages Campaign going? It's good you recruited a carrot and two potatoes, or something like that! I found a beetroot that was interested in joining up!
Oh Orchi, thanks for keeping up yes I now have an onion and a parsnip and a brussel sprout, slowly but surely we are becoming a great team. We may call ourselves bubble and squeak but it all up in the air for.now lol
Spring into your arms she will with verdant shrubbery and dazzling blossom..... a sight to behold. Do you get April daffs there too?
Oh yes my dear Dusk, actually sometimes they pop up in January too, this year has already seen 22c. Very unusual but sometimes yes. Then the freeze arrives. Thank you dear friend. π
I see in these few well chosen words a poetic expression of atmosphere chilled by wintery attitudes and scribed so well with your sharp mindful pen dear Teddy - this is now in my list of faves for sure.
You touch my heart dearest Fay, I'm truly honoured π thank you. X
As you travel down inside
You wonβt only find her
But her deepest desires
Her fantasy
Her dreams
And her wildest ambitions
And I just got lost in those words
A very charming poetry
Close to my soul
Kudos
I just love the title too
βSoul searchβ
Dearest Spills, I'm not a wordsmith as you know although I'm charmed when others are, I was thinking this was a simple write about one finding her soul, I so truly appreciate your very very kind review, makes me want to share everything. π Thank you.
Its hope that makes us move forward! π
Hello dear Kivous very nice to meet you. Hope that we always connect yes. π Thank you for coming by today.
worded and paced, harrowingly beautiful
dear Poetess;
and so relatable, to anyone
who may at any time, in their lives
try to connect
with the most influential person in each of our lives:
Our very selves!
Well said dear Mek, spot on. Thank you dear poet, you made my day. π
For some reason, I'm thinking the Isley brothers here. Though that might be because I'm going music crazy. lol
The sun is going bonkers here, and I'm going to have to sneak out and get some of it.
No sun here today except you Paul, you are my sunshine π€£ good to see COVID hasn't got you, Julie really did frighten it to death π
And that's why the sun took out a restraining order on her. lol
It's currently -23c with a windchill value of -30 here in southern Ontarioπ This is meβ We just got a major snow storm,..over 50 transit buses stuck,..accidents on the highways preventing plows from getting through to clear the roads,..people stuck in on the highways all day(8hrs)π± Total mayhem, lol
